As true Parisians, we welcome you to our family apartment that has been in our family for 4 generations and we are always ready to inform and help you. It is located opposite the main police station of Paris, making the neighborhood very safe. You will have access, FREE OF CHARGE, upon request, for 2 people, at will, to a FITNESS room and a magnificent historic Art Deco SWIMMING POOL, recently restored, very refreshing in summer, located 4 minutes from the apartment. The space You will be welcomed by a family of true Parisians of several generations: located on the first floor (with elevator) of a family building built in 1870, our spacious 90 m2 apartment is decorated with authentic memories that belonged to our ancestors. Portraits, objects, furniture and linen, will envelop you with the age-old atmosphere that bathes the property. Parisians by birth, we will be happy to advise and help you, and we will always be available. The windows of this apartment on the first floor of a 19th century Haussmanian building overlook a small view of the towers of Notre Dame, 300 m away; the main police station of Paris is right in front of the building, ensuring maximum security in this tourist and lively area, because surveillance and police patrols are organized 24/7. This place is good for business travelers, groups of friends, couples, and families: the first bedroom has a king size bed (160x200), the second bedroom has a queen size bed (140x190). In the living room, bathed in light by 3 large windows, there is a convertible sofa that sleeps 2 adults (140 x 190), and a fixed chaise long. You will have exclusive use of the entire apartment: the marble bathroom with bathtub, separate toilets, the large living room (about 35 m2) with original oak parquet in the "herringbone" style, with a beautiful original marble fireplace, (in which you can make a fire on request) topped by a large mirror framed with golden stucco, in perfect working order, as well as a "Prussian" fireplace, which was used to heat dishes in the nineteenth century. There is also a 4-drawer desk where you can work, above which you can find the 99cm TV. The equipped kitchen, open to the living room, will allow you to cook and eat on site (4 burner stove, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, electric kettle, espresso machine, toaster, dishes...). A washing machine and dryer are also available in the kitchen. The first bedroom, renovated in January 2024, all decorated with toile de Jouy canvas, has an area of 13 m2, its window (equipped with double reinforced insulating glazing and thick blackout curtains) overlooks the street: it is lined with an original fireplace, a wardrobe lined with numerous hangers, a king size bed (160 cm wide by 200 cm long), a small old table, a "dumb waiter", a bench to place a suitcase and its floor is in original oak parquet in herringbone pattern, like the living room. The second bedroom, renovated in January 2025, overlooking the courtyard, with an area of 11 m2, equipped with a queen size bed (140 x 190), offers you an en-suite space, with a Tuscan stone shower, a sink and a small wardrobe in the same space. A baby crib can be provided upon request. The entire accommodation is accessible to guests; we live in another independent apartment in the same building, always reachable through the Airbnb app, we are available for any help or problem 24 hours a day: we are also happy to assist and inform you. The apartment is located in a lively historical area, frequented by both students and families. There are many restaurants within easy reach, and most of Paris' places of interest can be reached on foot. It is conveniently located a 2-minute walk to the metro stations and 10 minutes to the RER station providing direct access to CDG and Orly airports. You can get to us from the two main airports, by RER train (about 45 minutes drive) or by dedicated bus, and by metro or bus from the main Parisian stations. It is also not more than half an hour away, by public transport, from all Parisian stations. Its central location makes all the main Parisian attractions accessible on foot, and for the most distant, less than 45 minutes away by public transport. A taxi station is less than 100 m away. Several parking lots are minutes from the apartment, where you can park your vehicle for about 36 to 38€/24 hours.
